Sunday Morning On-Campus Worship Has Resumed

PVN has resumed in-person Sunday morning worship only. There will be two services offered each week in the Fellowship Hall at 8:45 and 10:45 am. They both have a capacity of 150 people. Registration is necessary to ensure enough seating and family group space is available. While the 10:45 am service has reached capacity, there are seats still available at 8:45 am. Both services are identical in format. Register here.

To ensure a celebratory and safe worship experience, the following protocols will be in effect:

  • Families will worship together with 6 foot distances between family groups
  • Restrooms will be cleaned regularly
  • Exterior doors will be opened by greeters and ushers
  • Collection boxes will be available instead of passing an offering plate
  • No hugs or handshaking (Smiles and waves are certainly welcomed)
  • Masks are encouraged and will be available while supplies last
  • No Sunday School
  • No Children’s Ministry offerings (Based on conditions, the Nursery could resume in a few weeks)
  • Bags will be provided to children the first Sunday with one month of supplies for worship (activity books, coloring sheets, crayons, etc.)
  • Wednesday nights will remain online
  • No Sunday nights

At the conclusion of the 10:45 am service each Sunday, the online signup will be posted on Facebook and the church web site for the following Sunday.

The PVN staff will be evaluating the environment each week to determine how to move forward.  Decisions on restarting Sunday School, full Children’s Ministry activities, Sunday and Wednesday night worship, and a return to the Sanctuary for Sunday morning will be made in the future as more information becomes available.
